Butterfly Hospitality Group (BHG) recognises the significance of providing quality products and services, yet strive to minimise the environmental impact of our activities and carefully consider the needs of our community, making positive contributions wherever we can.

 

We are integrating responsible environmental management practices into our day-to-day operations and working towards long-term business goals for the benefit of our customers and the broader community.

 

Our responsible environmental management practices focus on prevention of pollution, meticulous management and storage of waste, and implementation of the principles of re-using, recycling, and the utilisation of eco-friendly products throughout our hotel operations.

 

BHG will adhere to best practice guidelines and management procedures to ensure we are providing the highest standards of professionalism, accountability and transparency. This will be achieved by establishing robust environmental management systems and ensuring that all management and employees are well-informed of their responsibilities, while also providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to fulfil our environmental obligations.

Environmental Policies

We are committed to cultivating an environmentally conscious experience for our guests, across both our hotel accommodations and food & beverage offerings, without compromising our unparalleled standards of customer service.

 

With this in mind, we are also invested in supporting our local communities in which we operate. Through our active participation in environmentally-friendly initiatives and our efforts to give back, such as donating to local associations, we aim to be a positive force for change and a catalyst for sustainable development.

 

Lastly, our Group aims to maintain its building and assets sustainably and to reduce water and energy consumption to uphold our commitment to the reduction of non-renewable energies.

 

 


 

Our Planet

Implementing responsible environmental management systems into our day-to-day activities at the corporate level, as well as long term transactions is paramount to customers and the wider community.

 

Hence, we are committed to:

1. The elimination of all single-use plastics in our hotels by the end of 2024.
2. Green dining – We support the ban of overfished species and offer Vegan and Vegetarian options for our guests. We support local produce and sustainable farming.
3. Being an equal and inclusive employer.
4. Our Environmental Travel Program – This has been rolled out to all hotels and we target for all hotels to be Gold Status by mid-2025.
5. Green Globe Certification – In 2024 we have started to ensure that all our hotels are Green Globe Certified and aim for all hotels to be completed by the end of 2025.
